The Check Workspace is one page per policy. Everything an account manager would open four PDFs, an email thread and a spreadsheet for is on it, in the order the work happens, with the agents’ work on top.

The hero

The hero says what the policy is — the check number, line, carrier, insured, renewal or new — who owns it, when it took effect and when it must be delivered. Under it, the stage strip and six numbers: checks matched, failures open, to review, renewal changes, with the carrier, total cost. Then one paragraph that says where the check stands, and the Check button that runs the agents.

The stages

flowchart LR R["Received"] --> RD["Read"] --> P["Proofed"] P --> W["With carrier"] P --> Y["Ready to deliver"] W --> Y --> D["Delivered"]

The stage machine moves one stage at a time and lists what stops each move. Ready to deliver is not reachable while a high-severity failure is unresolved; Delivered is the account executive’s signature.

The seven zones

ZoneWhat it holds
1 FindingsDecisions prepared for you, the last run, and every finding by severity with its citations.
2 DocumentsEach document with pages, fields read and unmapped labels; upload a PDF or text.
3 FieldsThe canonical coverage model: one row per field, each document’s value and its label.
4 ProofingPass, fail or review, grouped by category, with both sides cited and Raise, Accept or Waive.
5 ComparisonThe renewal against the expiring at quote, binder and policy; the tower side by side.
6 CorrectionsRequests to the carrier with status and due date.
7 DeliveryWhat stops delivery, or the client summary to sign, and the coverage schedule as checked.
Findings · what the agents found
What the agents found on an illustrative general liability renewal
What the agents found: each finding with its severity, the agent that raised it, the cited pages and Approve for the client summary.
Documents
The Documents zone with four illustrative documents
Documents: expiring policy, quote, binder and issued policy, each read page by page with the fields read and any labels left unmapped.
Check Workspace · controls
Key facts and the proofing controls that fired on an illustrative check
The side panel: key facts, a control that blocks delivery, a heads-up, and the four documents in the file.

Citations that open the page

Every value on the page carries a chip — Binder, p.2, Policy, p.4. Clicking it opens the page in a drawer with the cited line marked. That is how a reviewer confirms a finding in seconds instead of finding the PDF.

Citation · policy page 4
The citation drawer with a cited line marked on page 4 of an illustrative policy
Every citation opens the page: the cited line — a total pollution exclusion endorsement — marked.

For the account team

Work top to bottom: answer what is prepared, settle the failures, sign the delivery.

For broker IT

The workspace is built on the shared Insight workspace kit, the same shell as the rest of the suite.

For practice leadership

The controls panel says, on every check, whether anything blocks delivery.

Questions we get asked

Does it work on a phone?

The workbench is responsive; the zones stack. Most checking is a desk job, but approvals work anywhere.
